A school is a place where people come to learn in their childhood. You can call a college a “school” you can even also call a university a “school” in other words we can say that wherever we are going in search of knowledge or every English language institute is a school. But we follow colleges and universities after high school or secondary school.

College is a place where we study in 2yrs, 3yrs or even 4yrs programme for getting graduate or post graduate degree after secondary school. in schools we have to study all the subjects relating to technology, human nature, computers etc. but in college we choose a specific field for deep study and for getting master in that field. College takes University papers to award us a graduate or a post graduate degree.

On the other hand a university is a group of colleges where people study after high school. People study in colleges for getting degrees. Every university has its own architecture, rules and regulations. It decides about the facility given to students, how one college manage their students in each field of study, what fee structure should follow by other college in the group. One college has the supreme authority between these colleges who makes rules and regulation, set University papers for other colleges in that group for students One can get their bachelors or master degree from college or university. Every college in the university group has its own library for student in various fields of study for the research and study. (1)    Academic library: - large institution, colleges and universities own academic libraries. It serves their students, faculties and other colleges or institution in the group. Universities have different libraries for different field for example law and science. Recruitment of librarian is major issue in these libraries. One should have to be specialist in that field for holding the post of librarian.

(2)    Public libraries: - public libraries serve every person to every community of all types and sizes. As the name suggests public library serves general public from rich to poor. Public libraries often have different department for each field and often have more than one librarian who is master in in that particular field.

(3)    School libraries: - school libraries usually are the part of school system serving teachers and student from lower classes to secondary school. School libraries have single librarian who required having expertise in school management.

(4)    Special libraries: - special libraries provide an opportunity to work in a specialized environment of study. It serves the particular group of populations like blind, physically handicapped etc.EDU Library is the most important part for a large institute or university.
